BaseLiving is extremely proud of its sustainability ethos. From how we go about our everyday work, to how we design and build our Bases, to ensuring we partner with the most environmentally conscious delivery partners there are – we think about ESG in everything we do!
We are always striving to do more, and so, we have a gift for you that’ll last a lifetime.
BaseLiving, in partnership with the charity HomeTree, will gift each new Base resident a tree at the beginning of their residency. That’s not one tree for each home, it is one tree for each Base resident. So, as we welcome a family of five, that’s five trees, or let’s say a couple or maybe four friends, that’s two or four trees. You get what we mean!
The tree or trees will be planted on your behalf, and each resident’s tree will live out its natural life as part of the Wild Atlantic Rainforest Project on the west coast of Ireland. You are welcome to visit the tree and participate in tree planting days by just contacting the HomeTree team via their website below.
On move-in day (or maybe a day or two after!), a beautifully printed certificate, manufactured using recycled paper, and eco-friendly ink, will be posted to you at your new Base home. The front illustration of your certificate has been designed by Irish artist Aoife Barron and the back will contain your name and all the details you need to know.
We hope this gives you a smile and a bit of feelgood factor. It did for us.
